Sherrie L. Parker, CPA

President, Principal, Broker-in-Charge

Sherrie is responsible for maintaining and preserving the Company’s goals and objectives, which ultimately provides our clients with success and satisfaction. She oversees the property management operations and the financial system infrastructure.

Sherrie possesses over 25 years extensive experience in the fields of corporate accounting, financial management and Real Estate.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a current member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Forensic and Valuation Services, Cumberland County Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association. In 2012, Sherrie was selected as “The Top 50 Entrepreneurs of the Triad” by Business Leader Magazine.

Sarah E. Brock

Executive Director of Operations

Sarah is accountable for overseeing Wellington’s multi-family portfolio. Her responsibilities include management of daily site operations along with leasing and marketing efforts, all the while, handling each asset with our clients’ best interests in mind.

Sarah also is responsible for monitoring economic and marketing trends, operating within the annual budgets, staffing, and communicating with her team and our clients.

Sarah possesses 15 plus years of experience in Property Management with a body of work that includes timely reactions to market and rate changes in both conventional and student housing assets. Her skills were honed through managing the third largest student housing community in the United States. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from East Carolina University. Sarah also holds the designation of National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP).

Travis Booher

Chief Financial Officer

Travis is responsible for overseeing and managing the internal property management accounting software and functions. He possesses over 15 years of controller experience in varied industries, in addition to nine years experience in the human resources field.

While with a local manufacturing company, Travis served as ISO Auditor and was a key player in assisting them through the ISO certification process. He also successfully obtained Forest Stewardship Council certification for a global furniture sourcing company. Through these experiences, the need for continual improvement became very obvious.

Travis relocated to the Triad after graduating from Hiram College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Lisa Yurtkuran

Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator

Lisa is responsible for managing payroll as well as the overall provision of human resource services, policies and programs for the Company.

Her objective is to provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that focuses on quality, productivity, safety and goal attainment in an empowering environment.

Lisa’s 23 years in the employee-benefits industry along with a natural urge to share information and problem-solve, enable her to effectively serve our Associate’s needs so they may focus on providing our clients with efficient and profitable management.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Towson University as well as a North Carolina Resident Life/Health license.
