Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of monthly financial statements
- Review monthly financial statements for discrepancies and trends
- Reconcile monthly bank statements for all entities
- Reconcile GL accounts
- Investigate and resolve GL variances, to include posting of entries
- Post intercompany payments and other activity
- Lender reserve disbursement packages
- Work on special projects as assigned
- Ensuring the highest level of customer service
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree with a concentration in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate accounting environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to check numbers and find the logic behind them
- Ability to manage workload and adhere to multiple deadlines at the same time
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with property management or real estate software would be a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment, collaboration within the accounting and property
- management departments
- Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service to clients, residents, and vendors
- Reports Directly to Chief Financial Officer
